INtoEAT

Measuring what’s on the plate.

Timeline2021 — 2023
ConnectedCare’s roleConnectedCare was responsible for developing Liz de Voedingscoach 2.0.

Between 15 and 30% of older people receiving home care are malnourished, yet measuring actual food intake is challenging. INtoEAT developed three connected innovations: a smart food tray using camera and sensor technology to track intake, a digital food coach, and a lifestyle app.

ConnectedCare developed Liz de Voedingscoach 2.0, enriching the existing Liz platform with sensor-driven interaction, motivation-based coaching, expanded dialogue capabilities and an enriched dashboard — allowing dietitians to remotely track progress and steer treatment goals.

Prototypes for all three innovations were validated and tested with older people, dietitians and care professionals, and were ready for use by the end of 2023.
