Lizz – The digital health care assistant

Lizz is a digital health care assistant. She helps healthcare professionals to remotely guide patients, collect self-reports and optimizes the recovery process. Lizz supports the patient with advice and reminders, and helps the healthcare professional deliver the right care at the right time. Lizz makes blended care possible by supporting the patient when the healthcare professional is not there. We are currently working on different applications for Lizz. People who are rehabilitating are encouraged by Lizz to move a little more or a little less. Videos of exercises or video calls with the physiotherapist help to perform the exercises properly. Together with home care, Lizz helps clients with attention, daily structure, activation and guidance. In addition, Lizz helps home care and informal care to keep an eye on things from a distance. This leaves more time for real care. Older people with reduced appetite are encouraged to eat more often and to choose protein-rich products. The dietitian can tailor the advice to the patient’s reports. Lizz is currently applied and tested in four clinics across Europe and will be further developed.
