ConnectedCare, Dutch Postal Company PostNL and Movements Group have started a strategic collaboration. The three partners together initiated the community platform HLTP (“Het langer thuis platform“), which builds on the HalloZorg platform developed by ConnectedCare. The HLTP platform brings together communities of senior citizens, and facilitates information sharing and communication within the community. As a next step, the HLTP platform will provide access to on-demand services (e.g. laundry, meals on wheels, cleaning). At the end of 2019, our team participated in the fifth edition of the annual conference “A new generation of elderly (care)” in Nieuwegein. The conference was visited by 1,350 visitors. In addition to more than 300 elderly people, also carers, (district) nurses, doctors, students, administrators, managers, researchers and policy advisers were present. It was an inspirational day with a diverse range of speakers, discussion tables and inspiration sessions.
